Still to this day I can and do make a great gigantic fool of myself... Trying to explain something to someone... Usually when I am truly into someone and I make an idiot of myself opening up and saying "I dig you"... I will often remember the "ridicule is nothing to be scared of"... Why I equate expression of love and being ridiculed is a whole other topic... and not one for here... but yeah.
Adam and the Ants were the first band I truly danced my ass off to, alone in my room.. volume slightly high... and dance dance dance I went.
I actually got to see Adam Ant in Champaign, IL (thanks to MTV's local feed, back in the day... They did a ticket give away for the show, and I won!!! INXS opened... but when Adam Ant came on... I don't think I stopped dancing... I didn't care what people thought.... Remember, as that wise man once said, "Ridicule is NOTHING to be scared of".
